Large Apatite in Calcite

Item Description

An impressive,10.0 cm, teal fluorapatite crystal is dramatically frozen in contrasting orange calcite matrix. The translucent, crystal has the shiny, melty-looking luster typical for these. Some contacting is noted on the front of the crystal, but it really blends in well. A very fine large example from this deposit. Valued at $750.
