Item Description
A stunning 5.5 cm, 360-degree cluster of bi-colored apophyllite crystals is dramatically set on the large rolling basalt crust covered with lustrous, translucent, flesh-colored stilbites and numerous smaller apophyllites. The striking very glassy tetragonal apophyllites have water-clear, colorless pinacoidal terminations above pretty rich mint-green translucent bodies. This is an exceptional, aesthetic and sculptural large combination from Jalgaon. The basalt flows here continually amaze with the quality of world-class Zeolite Group specimens and this very fine large piece certainly qualifies. Valued at $1500-2000 and worth it. It would be priced higher at major shows.
