Item Description

Two generations of scintillating vanadinite prisms cover this beautiful, excellent and rich hand-sized specimen from the 1970s finds at this noted locale. Gorgeous, larger, cherry-red barrels to about 5 mm are concentrated on the upper center-right and scattered elsewhere on the undulating blanket of smaller, burn-orange prisms. A super accent is the rich sprinkling of tiny, transparent, very glassy, gem-like, hexagonal, flattened, calcite rhombs. This is a very substantial and fine, larger specimen from this locale, with only trivial brusing and periphery wear. Very seldom available in this size and quality. Ex Harold Urish Collection and valued at $900-1200
