Large Calcite (Stoudt Coll.)

A dramatic and sculptural, LARGE CABINET, calcite crystal specimen from the Dave Stoudt Mexico Collection. Highly modified, striated, glassy and translucent, amber calcite rhombs compose this very vuggy, 3-dimensional specimen. Many of the rhombs have internal phantoms, as well. This is a very uncommon calcite form for the famous mines at Charcas, renowned for "pokerchip" style calcites. Impressive and very showy large material.
