Item Description

An impressive, classic, old-time large calcite from the famous Joplin Field. The very sharply terminated, lustrous, translucent, scalenohedron has rich amber color accentuated by the darker core. The crystal GLOWS, when backlit. Complete all-around and nearly pristine. The bit of bruising to the striking knife-edge termination and a small out-of-sight back edge bruise are noted, but certainly have only minimal impact to this dramatic and excellent large calcite from the Tom Wolfe Calcite Collection.
