Sakoany celestine specimens are considered to be some of the world's finest examples of the species. This is a dramatic, sculptural and rich large specimen from the locale. Striking variably-sized, sharply terminated long prismatic, lustrous, translucent pretty gray-blue fill the impressive curved vug. Crystals reach about 3.5 cm long. The prominent upright crystal has a gently bruised tip with few other crystals in the interior having damage. These certainly have minimal impact to the richness and fine artistic quality of this piece. Valued at $1000-1250.
