Item Description

Classic, showy and excellent large combintion material from the famous Panasqueira Mine and the Art Soregaroli Collection. The piece is highlighted by the striking 7.0 cm tall combination cluster in the top center. Gemmy, lustrous, tabular, grayish-green apatite crystals, to 2.8 cm, aesthetically rest atop a cluster of lustrous, tabular, bronzy arensopyrite crystals. Some of the arsenopyrites have fabulous sawtooth edges, adding much pizzazz. The matrix plate is covered with muscovites and the scattered water-clear quartz points, to 3.0 cm, and smaller apatites add more character. Modest apatite fluorescence.
