Item Description

Sculptural, floater, densely crystallized, flattened, undulating large copper from the famous Ray Mine of Arizona. The aesthetic arborescent two-sided piece has striking dendritic spinel-twinned form. Most of the crystals are spinel-twins with scattered tetrahexahedrons adding character and interest. The piece has been cleaned to bring out the bright and rich copper patina. Ex Chad Dalrymple collection of Ardmore, Oklahoma who passed away in 1995. We recently obtained a portion of his collection. Chad acquired this excellent large copper in June, 1995. A fine, artistic and richly crystallized large copper from the mine.
