Dramatic and sculptural large doubly terminated calcite from the famous Elmwood Mine. The striking multiple terminations and little side car at the base add dramatic pizzazz to this impressive two-sided piece. The gem terminations on both ends have the highly desirable golden-amber color with the crystal center being near colorless. A fantastic contrast. Complete all-around, this is a very fine two-sided example. The fantastic multiple terminations on one end have only a couple of very gently, hard-to-see cleaved tips. The two large terminations are essentially pristine, with the two contacts near the large tip certainly being only modest detractions. This is a classic, most colorful and desirable large two-sided Elmwood calcite. Valued at $1250-1500.
