Item Description

RARE and amazing large gypsum from the famous sulfur mines of Agrigento. This incredible tabular crystal has a fabulous spearpoint termination that compliments the stunning water-clear, well-striated crystal with silky waxy luster. This stunning crystal is partially doubly terminated, as part of the other end is lightly contacted. Complete all-around and in great shape for such a large example of a very soft mineral. Modest scuffing on the sides and termination have minimal impact to the overall outstanding and rare quality of this large gypsum. Undoubtedly older material, but no proof.
