Classic and sculptural large doubly terminated gypsum from Naica. The sharply terminated crystals have typical bright satiny luster with striking stepped-growth faces. Some of the worlds finest, if not the best, gypsum crystals have come from the Naica District of Mexico. The trivial termination bruising is certainly acceptable for such a soft mineral species. The cleaved back reveals the limpid crystal quality and bit of attached matrix. A visually impressive, large example of the species and famous locale from an East Coast collection.
