Large Epidote & Prehnite

Item Description

Dramatically sculptural large epidote and prehnite from the recent 1990s to 2000s finds in Mali. The fantastically shaped jackstraw jumble of lustrous, dark olive-green prisms with chisel terminations is strikingly accented with contrasting clusters of translucent, mint-green prehnite botryoids with frosted surfaces. The epidote on the extended end is 3.6 cm and crystals reach about 4.3 in the interior (doubly terminated). The two attachment points are out-of-sight in the multiple fine display views on this artistic large combination. You don't see many around anymore of this size and quality.
