Item Description

Sparkly, vivid hot-pink and pink tufts of tiny erythrite needles are dramatically festooned on two sides of the striking large tapered three-sided matrix wedge. There are also erythrite crusts on the third side, as a bonus. This long extinct underground Co-As-Cu mine is famous for erythrite specimens of this style. Most such specimens were collected from the 1970s to early 1990s. Ex Chet Lemanski Collection. Seldom on the market today. RARE in such size and richness! In fact, I cannot recall the last time we saw one of this size and quality for sale. Small pieces easily fetch $500 and this is a giant
