Fluorapophyllites of this large size, color and aesthetics are very rare from India, even with all the tons of production. An impressive, well-formed, doubly-terminated fluorapophyllite bowtie is beautifully emplaced on basalt along with minor white stilbite. This is NOT the common style! This piece came out years and years ago, and we found it again only in our recent office move. The crystals exhibit a silky luster with good translucence along with a slightly limey, apple-green color that is just different than most others you see. The doubly-terminated fluorapophyllite crystals reach 9 cm across. Valued $1500-2000
