An impressive and sculptural large fluorite and quartz combination from the famous Wise Mine and the Robert Whitmore Collection. The translucent color-zoned octos, with frosted faces, have the classic variable Wise Mine green color and dramatically cascade down the raised center of the large vug. The water-clear quartz points at the crown of the fluorite crystal cluster, small quartz spray on the lower left and the fluorite crystal-lined depression at the bottom of the cluster are striking accents and add pizzazz. The fluorites in the interior are all pristine. Classic and showy large combination material, that displays very well without aid. Rich purple fluorescence. 6.4 pounds or 2.9 kilos mass.
