Large Fluorite (fluorescent) w/ Quartz

An outstanding large and rich two-sided fluorite rib from Riemvasmaak. The beautifully sculptural and pristine front of the piece is composed of tightly intergrown, unique green, gemmy and lustrous octahedrons with frosted faces, that the locality is famed for. The striking large octo in the center is 4.7 cm on edge and the two well-placed clusters of worm-like, frosted quartz points are dramatic and starkly contrasting accessories. The impressive back hosts even larger octos, to 5.0 cm on edge. The large octo has a dinged corner and bruising is noted along the top edge on one side. This is an exceptional, rich and very aesthetic large two-sided example from the locality with rich purple fluorescence. Valued at $2500-3000 and worth it. These are contemporary classics, with little new material coming out recently.
