An impressive, very sculptural and deceptive large fluorite combination from the famous Minerva No. 1 Mine. Four, intergrown, large fluorite cubes with stepped-growth satin lustre prism faces are dramatically clustered on the striking large 10.0 cm terminated calcite crystal. The impressive large central cube is 4.9 x 4.5 x 4.3 cm. An artistically set 2.6 cm, sharp, splendent metallic-gray galena cuboctahedron is a super accessory and highlight. The very deceptive cubes appear to be very dark purple to nearly black with edge hints of wine-red color under normal light. BUT - brighter light reveals variable violet hues and back lighting reveals translucent glorious GLOWING bright hues of pinkish-violet with hints of blue AND subtle edge phantoms! Nearly pristine, with only trivial edge wear to the cubes. Comes with a custom-made and engraved lucite base valued at $ 205, for free.
