large important twinned Citrine

Item Description

An impressive large matrix citrine crystal from a 2011 find in Zambia. The stunning large 360-degree crystal is 17.0 x 6.3 x 3.0 cm and is easily one of the largest stout crystals from the locality. The limpid rich yellow-brown crystal has a striking angled termination accented with subtle satin lustre stepped-growth prism faces. Pristine in the preferred display view, this dramatic essentially pristine prism has only a few out-of-sight edge wilbers. The matrix itself is a super accessory and the large crystal is actually half of a Japan-law twin, for which the finds are noted for.
