Scintillating, dynamically stepped-growth modified manganoan calcite scalenohedrons form a dramatic and sculptural large mounded plate from this famous mine. The glassy, highly lustrous translucent crystals have beautiful pastel-pink color and reach about 3.5 cm. Complete all-around and pristine, this is an outstanding large 360-degree example of the species and locale from the Art Soregaroli Collection. NEON orange-pink fluorescence. 1718 grams or 3.8 pounds mass. Valued at $1500-2000 for size and quality. In normal light, it is still the best luster we have seen on one of these!
