Item Description
Exhibiting a branching or dendritic pattern, this splendid, large cabinet, native copper specimen from the famous Copper District of Upper Michigan is totally crystallized. Individual crystals reach 3.5 cm across and the largest branch reaches a shocking 11 cm in length. Elongation like this with robust crystals is unusual, and teh result here is a really biomorphic, cool shape. Formerly in the collection of Lee Burneet, and then Keith Williams' copper collection ( Keith was a well known dealer and collector for decades before retiring recently , and specialized in Copper among other things). approx 540 grams.
