Item Description

Olive-green, lustrous, translucent, textbook hexagonal pyromorphite barrels, to 7 mm, are festooned in bundles on the dramatically segmented large vuggy matrix plate from the 1995 find at this ancient silver-lead mining district, worked intermittently since Roman times. Many are doubly terminated and some have hoppered terminations, adding pizzazz. The view into each vug is decidedly different, adding much pizzazz. Few specimens have come out since. Ex Raul Sanabria Collection. Rich and excellent large pyromorphite from this locale.
