Item Description

An impressive large sharply terminated quartz crystal is preferentially included with lustrous, metallic molybdenite flecks, to about 6 mm, on this dramatic specimen. The glassy crystal has a water-clear termination and is translucent below. The two side car crystals lower on one side add character. Ex Dick Hauck Collection. Dick bought these from collector Terry Szenics, who found them in Chile in about 2004. Complete all-around and nearly pristine, with only a modest bit of termination and prism edge wear, which is certainly only a minimal detraction. Most of the termination faces of the crystal have been polished to highlight the RARE and striking parallel inclusions in this RARE large combination from this very obscure locale.
