Large Scapolite xl

Item Description

A very large sharp crystal of intensely grape-purple scapolite from a recent find from this remote part of Afghanistan. The crystals range from transparent (rarely) to translucent, and have super color, as the underlit photo highlights. This is a gemmy, lustrous, translucent crystal with a sharp, termination. Complete all-around, with only very modest sidewear and edgewear. A significant large example from this find. 38 grams.
