A VERY RARE, rich and impressive large two-sided combination pseudomorph from one of the famous mines at Dalnegorsk, known for its rich diversity of minerals in combinations. Greenish gray-brown Siderite has pseudomorphed striking, densely intergrown, terminated, tabular Hedenbergite crystals. The pseudos reach about 2.0 cm. The pseudos, in turn, are peppered with very tiny sparkly quartz points and there are scattered glassy quartz crystals among the pseudos. The back side hosts an outstanding BONUS. Small glassy, nailhead spar calcite crystals totally cover this side and some are doubly terminated. For all the pseudo density in the front, the few noted bruised crystals are certainly only a negligible detraction. Modest pink calcite fluorescence. Ex Bill and Anne Cook collection.
