Large Smoky Quartz w/ Rutile inclusions

Item Description

This impresssive, large, water-clear, doubly terminated smoky quartz crystal is dramatically included with striking sprays and numerous individual golden rutile needles from an unknown Minas Gerais locale. The needles reach at least 3.7 cm. Complete all-around and nearly pristine. The tip has only a very gently bruise and the contact on the back of the termination has no damage, per se. Choice older material from the Richard Hauck Quartz Collection. Mass is 771 grams or 1.7 pounds. Valued at $750-1000.
