An impressive and rich large combination plate from Wushan from older finds of the early 2000s. Gemmy, sparkly, well-striated, rich cinnamon-orange spessartine trapezohedrons, to about 6 mm, are strikingly festooned on the undulating feldspar matrix. Scattered translucent, frosted smoky quartz crystals and a single muscovite "book" are typical accessories to this fine plate. Fairly common 6-8 years ago, you don't see much around anymore. The back has been sawed to enhance the display quality of this colorful, rich and excellent large combination. Valued at $1200-1500. ex Ed David collection
