Item Description

Five, gorgeous, gemmy and lustrous, sherry-colored topaz crystals to 1.3 cm are attractively clustered or scattered on the sculptural, blocky, rhyolite matrix on this showy and excellent CABINET specimen from the famous Topaz Mountain of Utah. I really like the vug in the center with the two crystals nestled together and the 6 mm gem sticking out on side. Very nifty. Uncommon large matrix specimens, such as this, show how these crystals form in vugs in the rhyolite. Ex Dennis Mullane Collection and probably dates to the 1950s to early 70s. We have seen VERY FEW large Utah topaz specimens like this
