Item Description

An impressive and uncommon large tourmaline combination from Erongo Mountain. The aesthetically intergrown blocky schorls strikingly have both highly lustrous striated prism faces and fantastic lustrous preferential nubby striated foitite-covered prism faces. The top up to over 4.0 cm of the terminations are probably composed of typical small rod-like crystals of foitite, a rare member of the Tourmaline Group. Correct identification is only possible by suitable analytical methods. Complete all-around and pristine. Most fascinating, rare and excellent large combination tourmaline.
