Large Willemite xl on Calcite with Franklinite

Item Description

A huge, sharp, classic, willemite crystal aesthetically perched on a sliver of calcite with embedded franklinite crystals from Franklin. The moderately lustrous, rust-brown crystal has textbook, hexagonal form. The back and part of one side are contacted, but are out of sight. We have seen willemites of this size and quality priced at $900-1500 at East Coast shows. Super green fluorescence on the willemite and orange for the calcite.
