Item Description
This very unusual piece has rich crystallization and beautiful blue on white contrast. Unusually etched royal-blue to navy-blue lazurite crystals embedded in structural marble matrix from a NEW FIND at the fabled Type Locality - Sar-e-sang. The highly interesting crystals reach 4.0 x 3.4 x 3.0 cm. This ancient locality has probably been worked since the 7th millennium BC (MINDAT). Every turn presents a decidedly different perspective to this showy and excellent example.
