Legrandite (classic locale)

Item Description

A beautiful slender tapered legrandite spray has rich golden-yellow color and is highly lustrous and translucent. Complete all-around, the termination is contacted, but has no damage, per se, as do many such specimens that were contacted with the roof of the vug. Legrandite is one of the three Holy Grail species from Mina Ojuela, along with manganoan adamite and scorodite. A fine, highly representative thumbnail from the historic 1960s and 70s finds.
