Item Description

Pretty lavender, pearlescent luster, curved books of lepidolite plates form this showy uncommon large mounded specimen from the less well-known extinct Colorado series of REE-Li-Be pegmatites. The pegmatites are best known for tourmaline and these lepidolite specimens. Smoky quartz is the matrix. Ex Bill and Anne Cook collection and a very fine example of lepidolite from the locale. Seldom on the market today.
