Item Description
A supremely sharp and superb, 1.2 cm, libethenite crystal aesthetically set on a sculptural gossan matrix crust. This very highly lustrous, partially translucent, dark green crystal has exceptional psuedo-hexagonal crystal form. Specimens of this very high quality came out in the 1970s and this mine closed in the 1980s. Considered to be some of the finest examples of the uncommon copper phosphate species in the world.
