Item Description

Several hundred sharp, translucent creamy to pastel-yellow Rhodizite crystals partially fill this bottle. Rhodizite is a rare complex anhydrous borate and is the potassium analogue of Londonite in the Londonite-Rhodizite Series. Specimens from Madagascar without analysis should be labeled as Londonite-Rhodizite Series (MINDAT). Madagascar has produced some of the finest examples of the species. A rich bottle of the species from the Chet Lemanski Collection and acquired at the Tuscon Show in 2000.
