Item Description

Linarite is a well known lead copper sulfate, and the Bingham area is one of the classic localities for the species. Typically Linarite is found as small to microscopic azure blue crystals, either tabular or elongated, in clusters or as crusts. This piece features beautiful, lustrous, electric royal-blue, crystals of Linarite with green Malachite plus Barite, Fluorite, Quartz and micro Anglesite. There might be one or two more species present, but I couldn't tell under the loupe. Good quality and showy with lots of associations!
