Item Description

A SPECTACULAR and RARE CABINET combination specimen from the famous Blanchard Mine of New Mexico! Electric-blue linarite RICHLY covers the quartz matrix plate and is accompanied by RARELY seen together translucent, purple fluorite cubes to 6 mm. Material of this richness and rarity came out in the 1960s or 70s. Comes with an older label with a $30 price tag on it!! That is a LOT of money for a recently collected rock in the 1970s, from a locality not so valued at the time. Current fair value for this size, quality and combination rarity is $800-1000 and well worth it. The richness of the blue color is dazzling! This would easily be over $10,000, if from Cornwall or Caldbeck Fells. Ex Mullane Collection.
