Item Description
A beautiful old-time classic specimen from the famed Wheal Gorland in Cornwall featuring micro crystals of vivid blue colored Liroconite associated on matrix. Wheal Gorland is the type locality for Liroconite, and certainly some of the finest examples ever found came from this mine. Under magnification, you can see some attractive crystals in a little vug, which measure up to about 4 mm, and we've photographed them with a macro lens to better illustrate the quality. Beautiful material, and rarely available on the market today. A great piece for anybody who collects rarities, classics or minerals from the type locality.
