Lollingite (ex Kay Robertson Collection)

Item Description

Hundreds of small, silvery metallic crystals (partial crystals) of Lollingite are embedded on multiple sides of the underlying host rock matrix. This is rare material, and virtually impossible to find on the market these days. A great reference specimen to add to a sulfide suite. Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#2359). Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Velt" November-December 2017).
