Item Description

A classic old specimen of this well known material. Keep in mind that superb specimens of Ludlamite are only found in a few worldwide localities such as Huanuni, Bolivia; Cornwall, England; and Santa Eulalia, Mexico. This specimen is a very attractive cluster of fairly thick, well-formed, beautiful green color, gemmy/translucent, almost "coffin"-shaped crystals up to 1.0 cm. The sharpness and the luster is certainly good for this locality (or any locality for that matter). The piece was mined in the late 1960's, and comes from the Rich Kosnar Collection.
