Item Description

There are only about five localities in the world that produce truly fine quality Ludlamite crystals. The San Antonio Mine at Santa Eulalia has actually produced the largest and finest Ludlamite crystals in existence. Some of the finest specimens came out in the 1970s, which is when this piece was found. This small cabinet specimen is loaded with "fan"-like groups of sharp, lustrous, gemmy, rich green colored of Ludlamite comprising individual blades measuring up to about 6-7 mm associated with thin layers of tan colored Siderite on minor matrix. Most of the Ludlamite crystals are undamaged and look beautiful up close. These specimens are incredibly hard to find on the market today. Priced in the inventory at $1,800.
