Item Description

Ludlamite is a rare phosphate and the famous Santa Eulalia District has historically, but rarely, produced amongst the best of the species worldwide. This excellent, older specimen from the 1970s finds is richly covered with gemmy and lustrous, bottle-green ludlamite microcrystals on gossan matrix. A bit of periphery wear is noted, but is a very modest detraction. Highly representative of the species and locale. Ex Consie Prince Collection.
