Item Description
RARE and nifty miniature pair of uncommon sharp magnetite dodecahedrons from this very obscure Lemhi County deposit. The mottled sub-metallic crystals are lustrous. The matrix is also magnetite on one piece. Magnetic, as you would expect. Mineral specimens of any type are rare from this very obscure Lemhi County deposit and large magnetite crystals of this quality and style are rare from any of the many localities for the species that MINDAT lists for the county. A choice and RARE pair from the legendary Art Soregaroli Collection (self collected by him!). A must for the species or locality collector.
