This outstanding combination is from the two old well-known 1970s excavations at this famous small copper-lead-zinc prospect - Brown's Prospect at Rum Jungle. Azurite of any style is VERY RARE from this famous small prospect, well-known for excellent pyromorphite, malachite and cerussite specimens. This exceptional and beautiful combination small cabinet features two striking rosettes of malachite replacing azurite blades and dramatically accented by clusters and individual crystals of starkly contrasting bone-white cerussite blades. The bit of visible azurite enhances the piece. See the 1980 Mineralogical Record article in Vol. 11. Ex Hefendehl Collection. Very rare, and unusually elegant pseudomorph combination of malachite after azurite with cerussite.
