Item Description

A showy and sculptural Malachite from Shilu showing attractive forest green, velvety, mammilary aggregates sitting atop a lighter mint green layer of Malachite with a classic banded growth. The piece almost looks as though it should be something organic because one does not often encounter something with this shape / style in a mineral. The largest "ball" measures 2.0 cm across. My favorite aspect of the specimen is the fact that it is in superb condition around the central portion, they typically are riddled with little nicks and dings. A fantastic and showy display specimen with that classic silky chatoyance that you only see in Malachite. Valued at $1,250 in the inventory.
