A simply gorgeous, all around almost flower-like spray of chatoyant, green Malachite from finds at Kerrouchene, Morocco a few decades ago. The base of this gorgeous green piece is composed of numerous 5 mm to 1.3 cm partial to complete pseudomorphs of Malachite after Azurite crystals that serves as a nest for a gorgeous divergent spray of chatoyant primary Malachite (in other words, this growth atop is original malachite, not formed as a replacement of a previous generation of azurite!). If the pseudomorph nest of perfect little Malachite after Azurite crystals isn't enough on this piece, the tall and broad primary Malachite spray is just incredible at 2.2 cm tall! This magnificent spray is composed of hundreds of acicular needles of radial divergent Malachite crystals that diverge from the pseudomorph crystal nest. This is just a stunner example of a multi-generational formation of growth in a gorgeous miniature!
