Item Description
This is 2.4 kilograms of top carving grade, lapidary quality malachite from older finds in the Congo. It has a richness and a patterning that make it clear, this is the good old stuff, not contemporary material which generally is not as interesting. 2.4 kilos is a lot of material, in this quality. It also happens to make for an unusually good display specimen, even for a mineral collection.
