Item Description

A showy and classic old-time pseudomorph from Tsumeb. Several sharply terminated elongated parallel-growth pseudomorphs of malachite after azurite crystals, to 4.5 cm, are aesthetically clustered with sections of larger and smaller pseudos in the gossan matrix. The matrix includes both azurite and sections of glassy, translucent crystals, that be be anglesite, cerussite or quartz. The piece has a fair amount of heft to it. A sculptural and excellent highly representative older pseudomorph from this famed locale.
