Item Description

An impressive, prominent, 2.5 cm, rich green malachite pseudomorph after a sharp azurite crystal dominates the pseudo cluster aesthetically set on the sculptural small cabinet malachite matrix plate. This shapely tabular pseudo is highligted by its beautiful shimmer, scalloped prism faces and striking sharp crenulated chisel termination. Ex Ed David Collection. Ed was Science Advisor to President Nixon and assembled several world-class collections before passing away in 2017. Ed acquired this excellent example of this varietal early on, when specimens were hitting the market from the now famous Milpillas Mine in 2007 and 2008. A classic and pristine Milpillas pseudomorph with exceptional form, from the earliest finds here.
