Malachite pseudomorph after Azurite (classic material) (ex Stoudt Collection)

Item Description

A wonderful specimen consisting of velvety green crystallized Malachite which have completely replaced blocky pseudo-cubic crystals of Azurite from Ajo. Very good condition overall and really eye-catching, I can only see a few slight bruises to the Malachites, but they are essentially damage free, save the back where it detached from the pocket wall. Classic material, not easily found on the market these days. Valued at $1,300. From the collection of David and Emily Stoudt.
