Malachite stalactites

A stunning specimen that is miraculously not repaired despite its apparent fragility, with tapered, slender crystals reaching 5.5 inches from a small bit of matrix with smaller stalactites upon it. You almost never see such fine, freestanding stalks and it would be hard to imagine a piece that presented the stalactites as well, in this size range! Two minor stalks of "only" 5 inches converge up and lean into the major upright stalk. They all three join at the top and are perfectly terminated, complete and pristine, all around! While larger malachite stalactites are around, this is one of the more elegant I have had. This came from an old stash in the Victor Yount dealer inventory, some time ago, to me. He had $3500 on it.
